The hotel is lovely, the parking is ideal, and the location is perfect for exploring the surroundings. A hearty breakfast in a pleasant atmosphere brightened the day.

I have visited Bad Doberan several times and always return to Hotel Prinzenpalais. They know what hospitality means! The pleasant communication, warm welcome, relaxed and friendly atmosphere (even when fully booked) made me enjoy my stay again. Hotel Prinzenpalais offers high‑quality service combined with personal attention. The friendliness, the cozy and super clean room with comfortable beds, the spacious and pleasant shower, the extensive breakfast buffet, and the top location with parking make the price‑quality ratio excellent. I already look forward to my next fully relaxing stay at Hotel Prinzenpalais! The best hotel in Bad Doberan :)
The room was okay and clean with a view of the Molli‑bahn. The reception was very friendly and helpful. We were in the breakfast room 40 minutes before the buffet finished. We chose a spot, and ten minutes later someone came over, told us to move elsewhere, even though we had already set our breakfast on the table. There was no coffee, so we asked for it. It was brought later and knocked onto the table without comment. The breakfast buffet was heavily depleted: the scrambled eggs were dry, only one boiled egg, and the sausage and cheese were almost gone and not restocked because the staff were upset. We didn't expect such a miserable breakfast. Since we visit Bad Doberan often, we will avoid this accommodation and prefer to stay at the Kurhaus again, where everything has been much better in the past. We complained about this at check‑out—staff shortage was apparently the answer. We will never stay at this hotel again.

The lady who greeted us was a bit unfriendly (she was the manager). In contrast, the other staff member—who seemed like a helpful house spirit—was very attentive and friendly.
