The location is right outside Paddington station, so it’s super convenient and offers great value. The AC worked and the room was spacious for London. As expected, the rooms are above the bar, so you’ll hear music from morning until midnight, and the underground tube is audible too. They provide ear plugs, which helps, but you’ll still hear the noise.

Breakfast was excellent and the location unbeatable. There is some train noise, but the room was very comfortable. We also ate dinner and breakfast at the pub, both of which were great.

The staff were friendly and it was nice to have a lively pub with food right at your doorstep. The location to the train was perfect as well. The only downside is there’s no elevator, but the staff will help with luggage if you ask.

It was a nice, convenient, lively spot. The staff are friendly and very helpful, and the food looks very delicious. I had to wait quite a while to be checked in because they only handle one person at a time. After checking that person in, they take them all the way up to their room, explain things like the doors, and then it isn’t guaranteed they can check you in next because it’s also a pub and the person doing the check‑in has to help with the pub side of things too.
