The spot is great for a quick overnight after disembarking the ferry in Calais, and the family‑run vibe offers superb hospitality and attention to detail. The shared kitchen is handy, and there’s plenty of room and all the essentials. We had planned to dine at a mall restaurant nearby, but after seeing the amenities and the delightful character of the place, we opted to buy pasta and eat in instead. Nothing to complain about!

The courtyard setting is lovely, and the breakfast features excellent locally produced items. The rooms are clean, welcoming, and comfortable, and the location is ideal—just off the motorway with cheap fuel right down the road, so you don’t need to drive far for dinner (Le Clos de Champfleury is a good option). Nothing to note otherwise!

From the very first moment we were warmly welcomed. Every morning started with a delicious breakfast, always surprising us with a different local treat. The accommodation sits on a quiet street where parking is effortless, while the lively heart of Reims is only a fifteen‑minute drive away, making it an ideal base to blend relaxation and exploration. We will definitely return. The only drawback was that the bedroom had no blinds, so privacy was slightly compromised unless you close the curtains.

“Absolutely perfect place to immerse yourself into the champagne world!”

The lodging was perfect! The rooms were excellent, hospitality exceptional, and the location ideal. It was set in a quaint French village that had been renovated with fully modern features, including a common breakfast room where breakfast was served each morning. Germain was a perfect host: each day’s breakfast showcased different local treats, and he offered helpful advice on where to go for champagne tastings, tours, restaurants, and sights. Conveniently positioned between Reims and most champagne houses, everything we wanted to do was within 15‑20 minutes. We didn’t stay long enough, but we’ll be back!
