Great place to stay, especially to see the whale sharks. They are a 5 minute walk down the road. A few good places to eat within walking distance too. Book the whale shark trip on Facebook the day before and reserve a time slot. Costs the same. People who don't book can be waiting for hours!. Don't expect luxury. It's a budget place, super cheap and ideally located

Decent value and great air conditioning. The room and restroom were very basic, with no fridge and no bedside table.

The spot was deserted, giving a pleasant sense of space, only five minutes from the whale‑shark point, and the staff were friendly, even helping us flag down a bus and offering motorbike rentals, making the value for money very high. On the downside, the restroom was communal, located next to a noisy road, the room was tiny and the bed was uncomfortable.
