The location was perfect and the views were amazing, giving us a chance to rest and escape daily stresses for the weekend. We didn’t want to leave, will spread the word, and plan to return. Service was amazing, the staff and owner were attentive, friendly, and welcoming, even surprising us with farm‑fresh eggs. Thank you for a wonderful stay! Next time we’ll definitely spend more time exploring the farm. The only issue was a cold weekend and some trouble with the gas geysers in the shower and the bath—unsure if that can be fixed, but otherwise I wouldn’t change anything.

“Perfect location for a trip to Addo Elephant National Park”

Ntombi, the hostess, was fantastic and very attentive, making us feel welcome. The beds and living areas were comfortable and the place was very clean. The surrounding nature was amazing, idyllic and peaceful. The owner was also very helpful and accommodating, telling us which route to avoid for safety. Unfortunately, the review doesn’t mention the 9 km dirt road you must drive to reach the house. You really need a larger car or 4‑wheel drive. The host did warn us that it had rained and the road would be challenging, but we might have chosen differently if we had known beforehand. The house could use some maintenance, and the hot water system needs attention – showering in lukewarm water during this cold snap was not pleasant.

The 9 km gravel path to the old farmhouse was absolutely silent, and at night there was complete darkness. Still, everything you need was there, all in a traditional farmhouse style. The floors creak, and the hot water sometimes doesn’t last long enough for everyone to shower, but that patina is part of the charm. Breakfast was lovingly prepared and served. We had friendly contact with Brandon and Ntombi. Everything was wonderful. We were there in June (winter). Nights were really cool. Brandon provided a gas heater. We would love to come back. The path to the property is exhausting for a normal car, but that is also due to the bad weather in May 2026, so it should improve.

“Great , outdoorsy and certainly a hidden gem”

Lovely and serene old‑style furniture and a real farm feel. Somewhat overpriced, as it turned out to be the most expensive stay‑over of our entire trip.
