The lobby felt welcoming, but the elevator looked ancient, and the room we got wasn’t the one we’d booked; the staff wouldn’t swap it for us, and I wondered if the bar really closes at 8 pm.

The bed was comfortable and soft. I couldn’t get into the front door because the entry system wasn’t working properly; I thought it was locked for security, but the motion detector only activated when you walked straight in front of it, not from the side. I also got a few bed‑bug bites during my stay. My room was right next to the elevators, so I could hear the elevator machinery all night and it made it hard to sleep. I paid the full room rate, yet a room next to the elevators should have been discounted because of the excessive noise and inconvenience.
