Arhodico Simou mansion

The facility was very clean, quiet, and surrounded by calm greenery; the room was spacious, the snacks were delicious, and Mr Kostas was very helpful in every way, so I didn’t dislike anything about the place.

We spent a fantastic few days at the Arhodico Simou mansion, a working agricultural estate. Like most houses in Kambos, it’s built in the Genoese style, a relic of the island’s past. The rooms are spacious and bright, and the patio and garden are lovely and well maintained. Kostas, the owner, was very friendly and helped us with everything we asked. The reservation didn’t include breakfast, but each morning we were given coffee and a pastry or sweet, excellent, made by Kostas’s mother. It would be nice if cooking were allowed.

“Çok huzurlu ve güzel bir yer.”

The building is beautiful, with a fruit garden in the back, and our room was on the upper floor with high ceilings and a spacious layout. Owner Kostas and (I think his mother) are cheerful and respectful. The location is quiet and calm, and no one disturbs it. In the mornings the kitchen offers cakes, coffee, and tea. I recommend it and hope many good guests come.

“Great hospitality wonderful historical building in an Orange Garden with a low level bathroom.”

Kostas and his grandma are wonderful hosts. We love the orange garden and the historic building. If you care a lot about the bathroom, this room isn’t for you: the water pressure is very low, there’s no hot water, and only a small amount of warm water in a tiny shower.

The location, the room size, and the nostalgic feel were all perfect, and the orange grove surrounding the property was wonderful. We also thank Kostas for his attention. It’s a place you can go with your eyes closed.
