I was struck by how central the place was while still feeling quiet, and it was easy to walk to a Kandyan dance show and the Temple of the Tooth; the breakfast that came with the stay was generous and delicious, and I wish I had more time to enjoy the great proximity to downtown Kandy, though I didn’t manage to stay longer.

The location was great, the service was excellent, and every staff member was caring and helpful; Malinga was especially good at dinner and breakfast, but the room was worn out and could use renovation, so it was only satisfactory for a one‑night stop.
