The breakfast offered a good variety of foods to try, but the location was in a somewhat industrial area with little to explore nearby; however, a large shopping mall was within walking distance.

“An enjoyable stay with exceptional service”

I was greeted warmly at reception and even more warmly when a Spanish gentleman dressed as a waiter took my bag and led me to my room. About five minutes later there was a knock on the door and the same man was outside holding a spoon and a serviette in one hand and a beautifully decorated cupcake covered with a cake bell cover in the other. I have never received anything quite like this in all my years of traveling (though I did once receive a bottle of beer in Bahrain); the cupcake was embedded with jam and smothered with cream topped with fruit and a twirl of gold leaf, it was delicious. When I went down to the restaurant the same Spaniard was also the bartender and server. It was a good job; it wasn’t busy but he was fantastic, attentive and perfect in his service. His service really was exceptional, I can only assume that he is the owner? My room was very comfortable with everything that I needed and I enjoyed a good night’s sleep and shower in the morning. The only issue I had was arriving for breakfast at the allotted time to be told that the server was late. However, when the server did arrive breakfast was exceptional with many elements and in good quantities. All in all a very enjoyable stay, I would stay here again and I can honestly recommend it to others. As for the Spaniard, he is one of a kind and I’m sorry I didn’t get his name. Old fashioned service at its best.
