The place was super clean, comfy, and located in a quiet, relaxing area. Sonia was a fantastic host, always available and very kind. Nothing to add.

The hostess was friendly. The beds were hard – but that’s just the French way :-) Breakfast included toast, chocolate‑bread, cake, and coffee/tea. We had to pay an extra 40 € in cash for sleeping there.

The location is wonderful – the room was pleasant but you can’t open the windows as one of the rules. This was such an awful experience for us which left me in tears. I always worry about writing poor reviews but I wish someone warned me so am putting what I can in writing to anyone considering this stay. Having arrived after a 4‑hour drive to check in at 5 pm stated in the website, Sonia arrived at 5.45 pm to finally let us in unhappy that we were “early”. This wouldn’t have been a problem but it was the start of many horrible events. Sonia was rude, hostile and unwelcoming, it was as though we were putting her out by being paying guests. Our friends were marrying locally and being locked out multiple times meant it became an issue trying to get back in to our paid accommodation. Sonia then proceeded to say horrible things to me one morning at breakfast but then said I shouldn’t take things personally when I got upset by her words. I have never felt so uncomfortable and unwelcome before. We have 5* ratings as guests and work in estates so was utterly shocked at the disrespect and false accusations being thrown at our group of professionals. This was extremely disappointing and really ruined our stay. A few extra points: -The house is heavily smoked in -The breakfast is stale and shared between guests -WiFi doesn’t work -You will be locked out of the property
