We booked a room with futon beds (convenient because it frees up a lot of space, but if you’re not used to them it can be a bit uncomfortable). The parking inside (covered) was great, although a bit tight.

The staff were extremely friendly, especially a receptionist who actually tried to speak French, which is a rarity. The hotel sits right in the centre near City Hall, with a bus stop right outside that makes the coastal sights easy to reach. I was let down by the so‑called 4‑star Korean‑style rooms: they face a neighboring building’s wall, the picture shown online is clearly outdated and doesn’t reveal the new adjoining block, the décor is shabby with worn furniture and peeling wallpaper, and the futons are far too thin, so several of us booked an extra room with regular beds. We couldn’t get a breakfast buffet on the first night, and the second night’s spread was just average, matching the 15,000 won price.

The place is clean and offers great value for money. Parking, however, is a nightmare; the entrance is so narrow that anything larger than a small car struggles, and you really need a connection to an external lot.

The staff were very helpful.

Only the view was acceptable. It doesn’t deserve a 4‑star rating.
