Parking is convenient, the room is clean and the size is perfect for a single overnight stay, the older bathroom is large and spacious, it’s within walking distance of the center or out onto the street, close to shopping in both directions with a budget bakery, and there’s a possibility to make instant coffee in the morning; however, there’s no TV and the bathroom is shared.

I had a decent stay, although the facilities were sparse, but it was fine for a single night.

The conditions were good for the price; I stayed one night while hiking near Gudenåen and it was satisfactory. We had purchased breakfast, but the host was unaware, which was a small inconvenience; they did manage to get some bread and brew coffee. The milk cartons in the fridge were a year old, and overall the fridge and its contents were not appealing.

The garage housed an Alter Cadillac! The bathroom was large and lovely, and there were plenty of parking spots. However, some items in the kitchen were dirty—fridge, heating plate, towels—and there were spider webs on the ceilings.

The hosts were welcoming, the location was great close to Gudenåen’s walking routes and served as a base for canoe trips.
