“Would have been 10/10 if we just had hot water.”
Breakfast was fine and the staff were friendly. Unfortunately, the unit had no hot water, a known issue that seemed to be ignored.

A very stylish guesthouse with cozy rooms and a beautiful garden. The playground was great, and the on‑site restaurant served good food. Their own oil products were delicious and available for purchase. The staff were friendly. The street was relatively loud, and I had to ask for a room on the back side.

The accommodation was okay. There was no one at reception even though we arrived before closing time, so we had to contact another guest who happened to know the former owner. The phone listed at reception for emergencies didn’t answer.

When my guide arrived, the place was locked and dark, and neither of the two phone numbers answered; I had to pay elsewhere for a room, which was a shocking level of service. I paid in advance and received no care or assistance from Umzantsi Afrika Tours.

The breakfast was missing, the restaurant felt unwelcoming, and the menu offered food that wasn’t healthy or to my taste. I asked for two single beds but was given a King instead, which is unacceptable; the room was dim, adjacent to the kitchen’s backyard, and branches on the roof kept making noises while traffic outside was loud.
