Located in the heart of a small town, far from the tourist bustle of the lakes, it was clean, well maintained, and had a fully equipped kitchen (great for 6‑8 people). The welcome was perfect, and there was a pleasant shaded café just next door. However, there was no private garden, only a communal square at the foot of the inn.

The location was good, but the hostel had very few bathroom facilities…!! There were almost none, just one outlet in the room…!! Extra towel service cost 5 euro per piece…!! It was full of hair or fur…!!! There was no shower towel, only a face towel and a bidet towel…!!!

I found a lovely spot in the middle of nowhere with a cool pub downstairs and good parking, and I was the only one in the whole hostel. Getting there was a bit harder, and there was no reception so it was tough to reach the owner.

The village of Ameno, the building that houses the hostel, the garden, and the very convenient shower were all great.
