“The worst €190 I have ever spent on a hotel”
It was close to the airport. The property was run down and depressing. Check‑in took 20 minutes and the owners seemed to be struggling with processing a simple booking.

The staff were very friendly. There was no hot water for the shower and the beds were uncomfortable.

I was allowed to check in early. The room was large and comfortable. When I asked for hot water, they filled a thermos with plenty of it and also gave me a cold water bottle. The restaurant was very tasty. Wi‑Fi was bad.

The restaurant staff were kind. Check‑in was extremely long and the bed was awful.

I was checked in by the owner, a very kind gentleman who noticed my large, heavy bags and, considering my 04:00 departure, moved me to a room on the bottom floor so I didn't have to haul 43+kg up the stairs. He also handed me two bottles of sparkling water for the night and showed me to my room. Such personalized hospitality is rare these days and it felt refreshing. The hotel looks a bit dated, but the family‑run vibe gives it a charm that I prefer over chains. Getting there is a breeze because the free airport shuttle stops just a five‑minute walk away.
