The moment we arrived the gate was falling apart and the whole place was covered in mud; the “barbecue” advertised turned out to be a rusted, filthy tank that smelled like something rotting. Inside, the toilet needed a quick scrub, the shower walls were still lined with previous guests’ hair, and the hot water never warmed up. The sheets looked like they hadn’t been washed, the bathrobes reeked of wet dog, and I even found a spider tangled in the bedding.

Staying in a kite‑shaped house was a fun novelty and the hot tub was genuinely cozy and warm. The only thing that held me back was the lack of basic kitchen gear – we were missing simple containers and other utensils. Otherwise, the experience was pleasant enough.

The accommodation lived up to the photos – the bed was super comfy, there were plenty of linens and towels, and the kitchen had every utensil we could think of. The only downside was the parking situation, which was tight and the entrance was dim with a few loose stones, but those quirks didn’t ruin an otherwise great stay. All in all, I’d happily return.

The barrel‑style exterior and the wooden bathtub give the place a charming, rustic vibe. Unfortunately, the interior feels neglected: there’s a persistent dust‑and‑mold smell, the décor is unattractive, the kitchen counter is sagging, and the living area is uncomfortable to sit in. The contrast between the cute outside and the rundown inside is hard to ignore.
