We were warmly welcomed by the family; the young lady used a translator to chat with us. They’re a cheerful, attentive bunch who love kids. The setting was lively – we saw chickens and a few cats. The apartment itself was practical, the AC worked well, and the layout was spot‑on: a separate double room and a sofa bed in the living‑dining area. The tiny balcony was a treat for morning coffee. It’s tucked in a quiet spot, so you’ll need a car to get around.

The place was clean and close to both Saranda and Ksamil, which was great. But the hosts were a mess – no English, so we had to rely on Google Translate. When we tried to check out, they sent us to a bakery in Ksamil to pay by card, which was a nightmare. We were in a hurry for our flight, yet they didn’t offer cleaning during our week, and we had to ask for fresh towels. They only wanted cash at the last minute, even though they’d said otherwise.
