3/5 Stars I have mixed feelings about my stay at Westwood. The room I received was probably one of the best on the property. It was spacious, very breezy, had beautiful views over the surrounding greenery, and was a comfortable place to stay during the monsoon. Although I had booked an apartment with a kitchen, I was initially told I could not use the gas stove. After discussing it with the staff, they eventually allowed me to use it, but this should have been clear from the beginning. The staff were always polite and tried their best. However, it was obvious they were working very long hours, especially during the monsoon when many rooms were occupied by local groups using the property for parties. As a result, nights could be quite noisy, which may not suit guests looking for peace and quiet. Maintenance could also be improved. While the room itself was pleasant, some areas of the property felt neglected. The swimming pool was disappointing, consisting of a small plastic above-ground pool rather than the type of pool many travellers might expect from the photos. One issue that should be addressed is the presence of several aggressive stray dogs directly outside the property entrance. Walking in and out, especially after dark, did not always feel safe. Overall, Westwood has great potential thanks to its location, views, spacious rooms, and friendly staff. With better maintenance, clearer communication about apartment facilities, improved noise management, and attention to guest safety outside the property, it could offer a much better experience
