“Hotel with great views and close to Blarney”

The place isn’t far from Blarney Castle and features an amazing farm with sheep and cows and a walking path around the hotel; breakfast is included and it’s a great Irish breakfast, but the beds were very uncomfortable.

“Teleurstellend”

The location by the river was nice, and the staff were friendly, but the property was heavily outdated and needed a big update; the season hadn’t started yet, so there were no facilities like a bar or restaurant.

The location was great, and the room was large and had a beautiful view, but the heating failed and after we returned from the event we were freezing in the room.

The location was fine, but it wasn’t the cleanest—carpet stains, shower mould, a drafty room with no temperature control, and zero services during the off‑season.

“A beautiful place to stay while visiting family in the area.”

The spot was spot on and we even had a loo with a view! CoolcowerHouse had a lot of character and looked great for Christmas. Parking was plenty and convenient. The staff were super friendly. The beds were very comfy. A handy table and chairs by the window made the room feel extra cozy. Everything was spotless and the shower was fantastic. Breakfasts were really good. The heating turned off a bit early on a cold night—around 10 p.m.—so we were chilly until it came back on in the morning. The outside entrance had a door with a very strong spring; we learned to jump out of the way quickly, which reminded us of Arkwright’s till in *Open All Hours* 🤣
