The location by Chiemsee is special and very nice. The hotel is well equipped and my single room was okay. The balcony view of the lake was great. Breakfast was excellent. For vegans there was hardly any choice, which is a pity. The hotel is more than 2 km from the train station and when I arrived in the evening I had no bus or taxi connection. The hotel offers no service, so I walked the distance with my luggage. I couldn’t rent a bike at the hotel.

“Das Hotel am Chiemsee”

The location is top, the people are super nice, the staff is great, the beer garden is outstanding, the breakfast is huge and the a‑la‑cuisine dishes are tasty. The fish dishes are amazing and the currywurst is a different take on a Ruhrpott classic but still great 😋 The room is really nice and the balcony overlooking the lake is a dream. It’s totally quiet and with a bike you can get to town or the ferry super fast.

“Perfekter Urlaub am Chiemsee”

A great starting point for activities around Chiemsee. The culinary start in the morning is awesome (the coffee request is read from the eyes). The restaurant has star‑level cuisine, the staff is incredibly courteous and friendly. As a farewell they gave a bottle of sparkling wine. The accommodation is a bit remote from Prien, about 15 min by e‑scooter, so it’s half as wild ;)

The food is very good, the location is good, the view is good. The cell signal was not good, hope they fix wifi soon. The room door was a bit jammed.
