First off, the staff were great. That's about it. The rooms were drafty, the kids' room couldn't lock. Shower water wouldn't drain. Beds were sagging and creaking. Breakfast was thin and nothing like the photos. Rooms weren't cleaned in between. Worst was the chicken coop right behind the rooms. At 4 a.m. ten roosters started crowing, felt like they were next to your bed. I barely slept two nights. I read that this was the best hotel on my trip, but I can't see that. It's the worst stay so far.

The hotel is in a great spot, with a beautiful garden. Rooms were clean, there's a secure parking lot, and staff were attentive. The only downside was the room temperature – it was hard to keep warm in winter.
