Cedar Court Hotel Harrogate

Parking was an extra cost but it was right behind the hotel, and my ground‑floor room made luggage handling easy. The layout of the hotel was good but a bit dated, and it was about a 15‑minute walk to central Harrogate.

From the moment we arrived the hotel was clean and well maintained. The reception was automated, but a staff member was available and very helpful. Our room was comfortable, had tea and coffee facilities, and offered a lovely view over the park. The location was ideal, only a pleasant 10‑minute walk to Harrogate centre and just 2 minutes from Park Run for those energetic on a Saturday morning. The only disappointment was breakfast: the bacon was a little tough, the scrambled eggs were inedible, and the coffee was poor. There wasn’t much fruit or pastries, but the breakfast room was lovely, the staff were pleasant and quick to clear dishes, and they even provided a plate of porridge on request.

The location was good, the staff were friendly, and it offered value for money. The room was let down by black mould, and the breakfast could have been hotter.

“Definitely worth a stay.”

The staff at Cedar Court are so lovely. All the facilities we needed were great, as they have been before. I was there for a wedding this time and everything was wonderful. Big shout out to Pablo! The room was lovely with a view overlooking the street. Unfortunately the hot breakfast was only slightly warm on this occasion, the tea tray compartments were very dirty, and one had a lot of sugar granules in it.

Location, comfort and staff . Bathroom tiles need a refresh around the bathtub but rest of bedroom and bathroom were spot on
