We stayed in a Rorbu for the first time and didn’t expect anything luxurious; the shower had good water pressure, heating worked, the bed was decent, and we checked in on our own without seeing any staff. Everything went fine. However, the kitchen supplies were lacking and the stove behaved oddly.

We had a great time in a Rorbu: the cabin was cozy, had a private bathroom and kitchen, and the remote spot was peaceful with excellent nearby hikes; grocery stores and malls were within 10 km. The owner was very helpful and responsive, making it a wonderful stay and a great way to experience the area. I’d highly recommend it! One thing to note is that the stairs to the upper bedroom are quite narrow and steep, so extra caution is needed when going up and down—typical of a Rorbu cabin.

The spot is excellent, free parking is available in front of the house, and apartment 14 is perfect: privacy and great view! The living area is spacious and the kitchen is stocked with every utensil you might need; we had two new sponges, dish soap, scotch‑towels, and trash bags. Towels were plentiful and soft, and the bathroom products—body shower, shampoo, and conditioner—are fabulous! If you have any questions, you can message via Booking and they reply quickly and politely. It was a flawless stay!
