The hotel looks appealing and has potential, but it felt a bit lifeless and still needs work to feel truly five‑star. It’s located far from the main town, which made getting around difficult. Reception mentioned a taxi would cost about 4,000 rupees, while an Uber for the same trip was roughly 250 rupees, yet arranging an Uber from the hotel to home proved nearly impossible, leaving us feeling trapped at times. I expected better, more reasonably priced transport options for guests in this location. The staff were generally friendly, but communication could improve, especially for international visitors. We booked a desert experience through the travel adviser. The jeep safari itself was fantastic and a highlight, but the itinerary was unclear: we were picked up at 5.30 pm, and after the safari we were expected to stay in the desert until sunset with no comfortable seating and little to do unless we paid for camel rides or quad biking. Since we weren’t interested, a later departure would have been preferable. The adviser should explain the full itinerary and optional activities before booking. Our rooms were large, but ours had almost no view in this new modern building and we experienced frequent power cuts. There are many steps around the hotel, and we couldn’t find a route to our room that avoided them, making luggage transport hard and posing a challenge for anyone with mobility issues.
