The spot’s location is great, just a block from the zócalo, and the room stayed spotless during our stay, but the bed was stiff, the hot water broke and never got fixed on the last day, the neighbors in the adjacent room were loud from 8:00 pm to 3:00 am, and the staff didn’t bother to hush them.

The place is in a fantastic spot, the staff is super friendly every time, the room is simple but has everything you need, and the housekeeping person is always polite and attentive; however, my room had a bit of neglect—windows were slightly broken, furniture looked worn, though it was clean—and the noise from neighboring rooms is too loud, otherwise it’s just the basics if you only plan to sleep and spend the rest of the day outside.
