“Medieval ambiance.”
The spot is convenient for exploring the old city, the room was comfortable with a slightly odd but workable shower/bath, and the old building shows its medieval heritage. No particular complaints.

The facilities were very tired and old‑fashioned, though there was plenty of space. The stairs, bath taps and decor were quite poor.

The location is great and the staff are lovely. No issues, everything was good.

The location was very good and the price‑quality ratio was acceptable.

I stayed in a couple of rooms above a popular restaurant in the heart of the medieval Cite de Carcassonne, right next to the cathedral and the amphitheatre where the July music festival takes place, so it was very convenient if you’re attending that. The place is great for its location and value for money. The room itself looked a bit tired; a fresh redecoration could make it nicer, but it was comfortable and clean, fine for a short visit.
