The location was excellent, the staff were really nice, and Sunday lunch was great.

The staff were absolutely brilliant, especially Jade; breakfast was well done and the rooms were clean, comfortable and tidy. We stayed in the cooler months, so there’s no air conditioning in summer, but we had no issues with heat and the large windows were great. It is expensive, but given the location, room options and the staff, this is reasonable.

The hotel is a really good option if you want to stay in Godlaming, and I’ll be back again.

I love the area and the hotel – clean and lovely staff who have worked there for many years. Our friends came with us while I was celebrating my birthday for a few days. We were told there was an error with the rooms and we received the superior room, which was just amazing; they thought it was next door in 104, but it was the smallest classic ever in a coaching inn. The reason we booked was the ability to take free cancellation, which helps in emergencies.
