I stayed in a beautiful historic building; the room was spacious with a vaulted ceiling, and the bathroom was equally roomy and newly renovated. The windows were new and insulated well from street noise. The location was great, just outside one of the city walls, near a spot where you can park for free overnight (though there’s a time‑limit from 8 h to 20 h). On the downside, the place was dirty. I saw dust balls and hair on the reception parquet and felt like leaving, but it was too late and there were no other options. The room’s dark marble floor looked better, but when my shirt fell on the floor it was covered in gray dust. The brownish synthetic sheets were of poor quality and made it hard to tell if they were clean. The overall vibe was rather gloomy and bleak.
