“I was extremely disappointed and expected much more from a facility that had Wyndham as an owner”

The location was convenient for the interstate. The room door looked like it had been forced open, letting daylight in and barely staying locked; I told the staff but they ignored me. The floor was sticky and filthy, turning my white socks black. The shower curtain was moldy, and the whole room smelled like damp and spoiled cheese, which I suspect was mold.

“Second worst hotel, I’ve ever stayed in. Sad!”

The hotel was in a good spot and easy to find. The bed was comfortable. The sheets were damp, the room had a musty odor, and there were visible spots on the ceiling that needed repair. The TV remote had no batteries, so we had to get them from the front desk. Breakfast offered only a waffle, hot or cold cereal, or a small bagel—no fruit, bacon, or eggs. The refrigerator in our room leaked, and when I dropped a shirt near it, it got a stain that wouldn’t dry, so I’ll have to wash it hoping the stain disappears.
