I was impressed by the excellent breakfast and the incredibly helpful hostess. The location was convenient and parking was easy. The rooms were nice and well‑maintained.

“We thoroughly recommend Arden House for a stay in Musselburgh.”

Breakfast in the room was excellent and prompt. The view is wonderful, over the racecourse and golf links with a great expanse of sky. It was a spacious family room. the house itself is very handsome. The bath was slippery so, as elderly people, we could have done with a non-slip mat to put in it. I'm sure we could have asked for one as the staff are very friendly

We booked a 5‑room, which was beautiful and large. The hostess was very nice and had plenty of tips ready. Breakfast was provided in the room. A bus stop is right around the corner for the bus to Edinburgh city centre, with a travel time of about 30–40 minutes. If we go back to Edinburgh, we’ll definitely return!
