The spot was great, people were friendly and the facilities were solid. The lack of a TV didn’t bother me, and the hot‑tub was a missed feature. Restaurants were a short walk for lunch and dinner, but breakfast at the lodge was delicious.

The décor was stunning and the room was cozy, plus the breakfast each morning was outstanding. Outside, a river view and plenty of seating areas let you soak up the scenery.

We liked the free wine at “happy time,” the riverside setting, and the homemade breakfast. The room felt a bit tight and the décor was busy; I didn’t regret booking a room with two queen beds.
