“Boa”
Breakfast was good, and the reception staff were friendly. The lodge was very quiet. The room, however, had a strong mold odor, but if you’re not highly allergic you can manage.

The breakfast was decent and the staff were cordial. The location is excellent. The room itself was not very comfortable, there were many ants, and it was quite small.

The bed linens were super clean and fragrant. The common area was well maintained, the garden was pretty. The pool was clean. The towels were large and good. The pillows were good. We stayed 4 nights at this lodge. When we arrived, we took a cold shower. The disappointment came when we opened the door to the room. HORRIBLE. Extremely small, the bed was against the wall, the air conditioner blew directly on us. The room has a double bed and a single bed; that room should not have the single bed because it is too small. The corners of the bathroom lack tile finishing, the floor is horrible, the ceiling is wooden and flakes fall onto the bed and the bathroom sink. There is no place to hang wet clothes, no clothesline, no hook, nothing. After 2 terrible nights in “room 6,” we complained. Joyce at reception swapped us to “room 2.” We were extremely satisfied with the change, but the treatment changed completely after that. She didn’t even greet us the next morning. That room, however, was excellent. Spacious, great bed, large bathroom. The lodge has 8 rooms. Of those 8, I saw 6. “Room 6” is the worst of all. I didn’t see rooms “4” and “7,” so I can’t comment on those. But among the others, only “6” is horrible. The breakfast is very weak. There is no variety. Every day it’s the same. Only one type of juice per day. We had guava juice for 2 days, acerola juice for 2 days. No fruit, only fruit salad. Every day pastel, always the same flavor, every day pizza, always the same flavor. They use leftover bread from the day, reheat it the next day, and serve it as bread on a pan. Ham looks like it’s been left out. They lack cutlery, they don’t replace what’s used. Of all the places I’ve stayed, this was the worst breakfast I’ve had. The rating is an average of the 2 rooms we stayed in. Room 6 is 0, room 2 is 10. But we didn’t like the reception staff. The housekeeper and the woman who prepares the coffee are very polite and friendly. But the 2 women at reception we didn’t like.

The location was good, yet the rooms and common areas had leaks and a bad odor.
