We stayed with the idea of creating summer memories for my son, and the place turned out to be wonderful with a spacious room and great comfort. Arriving a bit early, we were checked in before the scheduled time, which was very helpful. There were no major issues; the only slight impression was that the counter staff seemed a bit hard to approach, but once we spoke they were very helpful.
Unfortunately the onsen facilities were not available during our stay because of maintenance delays. Because of this, they upgraded our stay and gave us a partial refund. They also let us rent bikes earlier than their usual season. They were very accommodating, and the storytelling by one of the staff members really helped us connect with the place.

The food was great.
The property is great, located in a beautiful natural area of Japan. Our Japanese‑style room was fantastic with a view of the river. The public bath was excellent. Breakfast and dinner were amazing, and the bike‑rental service was good. Nothing negative.
The environment was very quiet and peaceful, and the room offered a direct view of the river, which was very pretty. The food provided by the hotel was tasty; it looked simple but the seasoning was thoughtful. Because the public bath wall was under renovation, we missed the chance to soak, which was a bit disappointing. Nonetheless, it was a lovely stay.
