“Super séjour”
Warm, professional staff made the stay enjoyable; the hotel was clean and the rooms were modern, and the daytime and evening activities were entertaining.
“Traumhaftes Hotel in guter Lage”
We received an upgrade to a wonderful corner suite with a large balcony, plus a drink voucher, so the accommodation was already dreamy. The sea view was spectacular, and Sitia was very clean with pleasant restaurants and shops. The breakfast selection was large and the dinner was also okay.
“Tu etais parfaites”
The calm of the hotel is perfect for disconnecting completely.
“Wir kommen nicht wieder”
The staff were very friendly, but we only booked one night because we were heading to eastern Crete, and hearing people spend their whole vacation there made us feel sorry for them. We had to wait unusually long at check‑in, yet the friendly team was the highlight. The hotel is long past its golden years and feels absolutely outdated; I can’t fathom how it earned an 8.7‑star rating. The room smelled of old smoke and cleanliness seemed not a priority. We had partial sea view but didn’t use the balcony much because it was very noisy. To reach the beach you must take a street, and the sun loungers there are free. The food was terrible, though breakfast was definitely better than dinner. It feels like a cafeteria, and half the hotel swarms at 19:00 for the buffet; tables are packed tight with little personal space. We wanted to use the sauna, which costs €40 per hour for two people. The spa area is run by the city and the hotel has little to do with resort and spa now. We were looking forward to the evening there, but honestly we would have been satisfied at a cheaper hotel.
“Kommer gjerne tilbake!”
Very nice rooms and many offers! Great breakfast! Lovely interior and nice surroundings – garden area with several pools!
