The breakfast was hearty and tasty, and the restaurant offered generous portions in the evening. The hotel sits on a small hill in Bad Schandau, so the town is easily reachable on foot or by bus. Plenty of parking is available thanks to the location, making it a great starting point for a hike to the Schrammsteine.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was just fine. Dinner options were excellent, especially the garlic schnitzel, which I highly recommend. The location is superb; you can quickly reach the sights on foot or by bike, and renting an e‑bike is a smart idea. The only gripe is that the towels feel a bit old‑fashioned. Otherwise, everything was perfect and I’d come back.
