This boutique hotel lay in quiet lanes just a 10‑minute walk from Mdina, and the breakfast was excellent, though I wished they’d refill bottled water daily and leave milk in the room for tea and coffee.

It was very close to the evening destination we had planned, but the room faced a busy street, so I could clearly hear people speaking loudly and the restaurant below our room moving tables and chairs to set up for the night.

The boutique hotel was lovely, with a large room and balcony, friendly staff, a generous breakfast selection, and only a 5‑minute walk to Mdina; the location was perfect, though the taxi dropped us off at the end of a street—just a minute or so away—so be aware that the road is flat and easy to roll cases.

The old building was beautiful and set on a quiet, picturesque street, just a few minutes from car parks, restaurants, and bars; our room was huge and comfortable, everything tastefully decorated, and the breakfast was excellent.

Breakfast was really good, but I wasn’t impressed with the room because the decor was tired, a chair was poorly repaired, and there was only a single cup of tea available; the water took a long time to heat, and the shower was so close to the bathroom door that I narrowly avoided bumping into it on a few occasions, which needs fixing.
