“Maravilhosa!”
The pousada is beautiful and very well located; I plan to return! The only downside was that there was one less mirror in the room.

We arrived with five friends and booked the quintuple room; it’s simple but very tidy, clean, and cozy. The breakfast is homemade and tasty. The pool and leisure area are clean and well maintained. The location is excellent, everything is within walking distance. The only issue is that the pousada has no parking; because it sits on a main street, the street gets crowded, especially on holidays, which was our case. We didn’t see it as a problem, since the town is quiet and it’s fine to leave the car on the street. Overall I recommend the pousada and will definitely come back.

The owner was very hands‑on with the breakfast service and seemed to treat the staff poorly, which made the whole vibe feel a bit off. We never really felt welcomed here, so the experience was more uncomfortable than pleasant.

Breakfast was solid, but the room reeked of wet dog – a damp wooden ceiling was the culprit, and even cranking the AC didn’t clear it. On top of that, loud music from the neighbors kept us up, and when my two‑year‑old needed a warm bottle at night they wouldn’t let us use the microwave, so we were stuck with cold milk. The staff were indifferent, making it a terrible choice for families with little kids.

We loved being able to stroll everywhere; the spot is right in the middle of everything, so we never needed a car. The Wi‑Fi was spotty, but it didn’t really ruin our plans. Overall, a convenient base despite the weak internet.
