The historic building was internally renovated in a cozy style, creating a warm environment and the owners were welcoming and nice people. Everyone felt at home. The position is great, on the main pedestrian street, and the room services are perfect. Breakfast was delicious, with a sweet buffet and the option to order a freshly made warm continental breakfast.

The property is a charming heritage building, warm and cozy, right in the town centre. Breakfast was superb and the hosts were engaging and friendly. Tea, coffee, fresh milk and chilled water were supplied in the room, and everything was spotlessly clean. A helpful information pack arrived beforehand. It’s very close to the Bressay Ferry. The only downside is that, as a heritage building, the stairs are steep when you’re lugging suitcases, and our small room only had a modest double bed. It wasn’t a problem for us, but it’s worth knowing ahead of time.

The hotel is very central and clean, but it was the staff who really made our stay better. They were very knowledgeable about the area and always happy to help.
