There wasn’t much to say positively. The toilet, though unused, was gurgling and water was backing up, which scared me and made it unusable. Mold was growing everywhere, even on the AC vent, making it unusable. I couldn’t tell who had used the slippers. Overall, the lack of cleanliness made the first night frightening.

The upper‑floor bath and sauna area was really nice, and the view of the city was pleasant; the room was cleaned daily. Breakfast had good fish, though the overall breakfast could have been better—coffee was mediocre, tea was offered in a small cup, juice either wasn't available or ran out in the morning, and we only received a yogurt jar on the last morning.

A free bus ran to Haikou Makuhari Station, which was helpful in the rain. Water was provided in plastic bottles. The bathroom exhaust fan was dusty and the cleaning was insufficient; the AC was dirty.

The dinner portions were huge and the pork miso soup was delicious. When I checked in, I noticed a short strand of hair in the room’s bathtub, which was a bit annoying. Coffee, tea, and cups were provided, but I couldn’t tell which tap to use, so I couldn’t drink.
