The lodge’s spot and the room itself were fantastic; Blowing Rock is a short walk away, and we brought our dog to play frisbee in the front green space. The room was a simple lodge‑motel with everything you’d need, and we didn’t miss anything at all. The staff were friendly and helpful, and I can’t find any negatives about our few nights there.
