Casa Paduricea

Very close to Cluj airport, just a 5‑minute drive, with parking. The room was cute, clean, and had what was needed. The area is quiet and silent. Our flight landed late, we arrived at the hotel after midnight, but we had no trouble checking in. There are no breakfast spots nearby and I don’t think the property offers it. We only spent the arrival night at the airport; I’m not sure if it could be arranged on request.

Pros: a large private parking area, convenient location near the airport, and the rooms were clean. Cons: The staff attitude was disappointing. I arrived in the evening, the manager met me at the reception, said there were two free rooms – one with air‑conditioning, the other without. She offered to help with my luggage, but I declined. I left for the car, grabbed my stuff, returned – and I didn’t see any staff again. I went upstairs. The two free rooms were next to each other. The door had keys. The presentation of the rooms was mediocre. I entered one; it was sweltering – no air‑conditioning. I entered the other – it had air‑conditioning, but the room was unclean (!!!). I went back to the first. I opened the windows; it was good that the mosquito nets were there, but open windows meant noise. Planes and a nearby railway caused a lot of sound. The room lacked a spoon and a glass, no utensils at all. Complete disappointment.
