The food is good, the property is very nice, and the large estate has potential. Unfortunately, the rooms do not live up to four‑star standards: the TV is non‑functional, the equipment is a bit dated, and the reception takes a two‑hour lunch break. We were turned away before check‑in, which was embarrassing, and we had to leave with our luggage. Later in the afternoon, a second attempt finally worked.

The staff were friendly, the room looked nice, and the wellness area was great. It would have helped to have a notepad with a pen in the room, and a bathrobe should have been provided without asking.

“Wohlfühl-Urlaub im für Radfahrer idealen Hotel”

We rode the Drautal cycle path together. The e‑bikes were stored in a lockable bike cellar (not accessible at night) and could be recharged right there. We used the garden pool. Upon arrival we could still sign up for dinner and choose from two menus. The rooms were spacious and well equipped with a fridge, a hotel safe, a shower bathroom with a separate toilet, and pool towels. The breakfast buffet was very generous.

“Clean, efficient and peaceful hotel for a stop over between Austria and Slovenia”

The hotel has well‑kept, peaceful grounds and pleasant dining options. It sits in a very quiet spot ideal for nature lovers, and the bar and restaurant staff are especially friendly. The bed was very small, even for a single room, and there was no air‑conditioning or fan. The restaurant’s menu options are very limited.
