“Part of History! Lovely old pub, friendly staff. comfortable stay. Picturesque village location”
The village spot is fantastic, and the old pub has so much character. The staff are friendly and the breakfast is freshly cooked and very good. The location is also very close to Montecute House.
“I had a very happy stay. Special thanks to Leanne,”
Everything was fantastic, and the breakfast was brilliant. There was nothing that I didn’t like.
“Don’t book Friday or Saturday if you have to leave early next morning”
Breakfast and dinner were fine, and the room was okay with a small double bed. However, I scored it low because they should not accept bookings on Friday or Saturday nights from travellers who need a good night’s sleep. The music stopped around 1 o’clock on Sunday morning, and at 2.10 am the bar clients began to disperse, leaving no chance to sleep with continuous noise.
The pub in the centre of Lostwithiel is great, with a cosy and busy atmosphere and staff that are very friendly. The room was wonderful—very large, comfortable, with two lovely armchairs and a small table, plus a great shower. Breakfast was fantastic, all homemade and very tasty. Nothing negative.

Everything was good, and there was nothing negative.
