The Miggi was lovely and very clean; the rooms are literature themed, which was very interesting (we stayed in the Oscar Wilde room). Breakfast was lovely, with a wide variety to choose from and very allergy friendly; I had no issues with being gluten free. There was nothing I didn’t like.

I’m not really one for travelling, so I haven’t stayed in many hotels, but this is the best one I’ve ever stayed in. It has its own unique style, which shows that the owners are book lovers. Many thanks to the owners for an unforgettable experience.

These hosts are among the friendliest and loveliest you could hope for; the guesthouse owners and Phoenix, who runs a restaurant through the guesthouse, are perfect hosts. Food is great both at the guesthouse and at Phoenix’s events, and even though they were fully booked for Sunday dinner, they managed to squeeze us in, which we’re grateful for. I can’t recommend this place enough, especially since we received handmade toiletry tins with shampoo, conditioner, and soaps. Parking is limited, but there’s a car park very close by; we struggled a bit, yet the hosts offered to move their car and arranged for us to park behind them since they didn’t need to move.
