“Ok but wouldn’t stay if had a different choice”
The bar was nice, but the rooms are dated and need a refurbishment.

The staff were very friendly and the downstairs area was clean and tidy, but my single room had a tiny TV that didn’t work properly. The room smelled musty, especially the drains in the bathroom, and I had to shut the bathroom door to try to stop it, which didn’t help because the bed was right opposite the bathroom. I honestly don’t think the money I paid was worth it. The pillows had no real stuffing, and there were no teabags even though I don’t drink coffee. I was really disappointed with the room for the price.

The bed was comfortable, but the only thing I didn’t like was the wooden chair in the room; it would have been nicer to have a more comfortable chair to sit in.

The staff were friendly and the evening meal in the restaurant was good, yet the bathroom needs updating and redecorating, the carpets in the room, stairs and corridor were grubby, and breakfast choices were limited with very slow service.

The location was good, but the room was not clean, the bed was soft, and the pillows were very flat. The extension led everywhere and I couldn’t open the window. The shower was attached to a wall at a height only a child could stand under. The bathroom taps were covered in limescale, the plug holes were dirty, the knob on the bathroom radiator was on the floor, and the bathroom door did not close properly.
