“Aufgrund des positiven Gesamteindruckes werden wir wieder kommen.”
The location is almost central yet very quiet. The breakfast buffet was extensive and well organized, and we also liked how the thermal complex was arranged. However, when we arrived and entered the room we noticed a torn outlet on the hallway wall. Our dinner reservation at check‑in didn’t reach the restaurant staff, who seemed overwhelmed. Guests had to stand in line for table placement and wait.
The bathing area was very nice, but there was no air conditioning and I could barely sleep at night. We wanted to spend the evening in the attached restaurant Badstube with good food (buffet), but for me it was just lower‑tier cafeteria level. Overall a total flop.
Perfect.
“Die Zimmer und die Therme sehr gut, Personal leider sehr kalt und nicht zuvorkommend, Fragen stören”
The dinner was very weak.
“Für 2-3 Übernachtungen ist das Hotel ganz passabel. Für längere Aufenthalte eher nicht.”
The hotel is pretty close to Federsee and Wackelwald, offering good options for bike and hiking trips nearby, and the thermal baths are reachable directly from the hotel. The dining room is nicely furnished and leaves a good impression. There are plenty of parking spots nearby and further away, plus a RV parking space. The bathroom has a large shower, and the bed’s head and foot sections are electrically adjustable. The balcony comes with two chairs and a lounge chair. The breakfast selection could have been more varied. The hotel feels more like a sanatorium. The carpets in the corridors and the stairwell make the walk from the room feel sticky, with hardly any fresh air. Ahead of room 421, which looks toward the parking lots, there is a big construction site, so expect a lot of daytime noise and a not‑so‑sparkling view now and after.
