The spot was spot on in the centre, and the staff were brilliant—especially when we got a parking fine and reception sorted it out. Breakfast offered great value. However, we stayed in the basement, so lights were on all the time, no view, just a small courtyard and a tiny window, meaning we had the air‑con on all night even though we’d booked a room with a view.

The location was excellent.

The location is good, the staff were friendly and helped me get hot water for green tea, the room was clean and the shower was good; we weren’t told about the air‑con, which staff only found out about after we googled it because it was too warm that day and we couldn’t sleep until the air‑con worked.
