I loved the free tennis and bikes, and the tea selection in the room was great! The decor felt very homey and everything was top quality. The Sunday roast was AMAZING—best I’ve ever had! Having all the veggies and herbs growing on site was so lovely. The only downside was that when we checked in we didn’t get a rundown of the facilities or any info about breakfast, so a card in the room or a brief briefing at check‑in would be super helpful.

The attention to detail was excellent, the appliances were lovely, and the room felt warm and cozy with a comfortable bed and pretty Christmas fairy lights—highly recommended. The only issue was that the people in the adjoining piggy had very heavy feet and stomped around a lot, so some soundproofing might be needed. Also, you can’t choose your room and once it’s booked you can’t change it with the property.
