The property itself was fine, but when I arrived they tried to give me a room on the second floor accessed by a very small exterior stair from the kitchen. The room was in bad condition, damp, and windowless, and to reach the bathroom I had to go down the stairs and pass through the kitchen again. That room wasn’t in the photos on Booking. After speaking with the manager and filing a complaint, they offered me a different room that matched the pictures. I appreciate how they tried to fix the issue, but the first experience was very bad.

I liked that the female staff were super friendly and explained the rules, and everything was clean—common areas, the bathroom, and my room. The place is well located and the area is quiet, with a Ticketmaster point for concerts near the GNP. The downside was that the downstairs bathroom didn’t have a lock, so people could accidentally see each other 😅. I also heard a guest in the early morning about a bug problem that had been repeated several times; he wanted a refund but didn’t get one, and a man—maybe the owner—was upset and wanted to hit him. I understand the guest’s frustration because it was a persistent issue, but nothing like that happened in my room.

The only acceptable thing was the location, which is in a good area with restaurants and transport nearby and very safe. The place was terrible: the room entrance was uncomfortable and dangerous, there was no hot water, the ceiling in the room was literally falling apart, and the towels they provided were torn and all in bad condition.

The location was good, but there was no hot water and it was always cold, so I couldn’t shower.
