The beachfront was great, but the hostel lost its shine quickly; the bar/restaurant turned into a minimarket, rooms are cleaned but not maintained—my shower was broken and I couldn't switch from the rain shower to the hand shower, the bathroom was very desolate, the kitchen had almost no utensils, ancient pans, and few cooking tools. Some guests were questionable, and the English at reception needs major improvement.

The location and staff are great, everything else is very bad, very bad.

The location is good and the staff are nice, but I saw small cockroaches on the light switch and the toilet bowl has an old stain inside. When I showered, water leaked through a small gap in the glass door and stuck on the floor.

The location was good, but the room was bare minimum: the ceiling leaked water, the toilet made running noise all night, the full-length mirror was cracked, there wasn’t enough toilet paper, and the room smelled like smoke on the first night. See the previous comment.
